Hey all,

I have a younger sharer (14) and she has asked if she can buy my horse something as she had done for all her previous loan horses.

I'm struggling to think of things that she could buy him! I've brought all new tack browband, etc. He has a specialised numnah for his back and they are expensive, so obviously I don't want her to waste her money!

Any ideas would be great!
(I've suggest a grooming kit and headcollar)

I think those are probably the best options, I was a RS brat and by that age we all had headcollars and grooming kits for our favourites, and the odd fancy browband.

I think a headcollar's a good idea - she could choose either a nicely coloured one with a matching leadrope, or a leather one with a nameplate.

Thank you all, he is on grass livery so a haynet and treat ball he can't have!
She's already brought him a headcollar but wants to buy him something else. I've suggested a grooming kit but she wasn't too fond of that idea!

I'm struggling to think of things haha!

What about stirrups (with or without leathers)?
There are a multitude of types and colourways these days and they can be easily taken with her should she move on.
Or she could buy some "ears" in a colour to match his saddlecloth?

Some hi-viz for hacking out, if she does? Even if he already has an exercise sheet or something, you can always find somewhere to stick some more hi-viz!
