I need some advise!!
Im thinking of advertising for a sharer for my 15.3, Irish TB.
He's only 5 and still needs some bringing on.
Im worried that if I advertise him, Im only gonna get joy riders or people that arent very experienced.
Any idea on how to word an advert?

Could you go through word of mouth rather than an ad? Telling farrier, local instructors, YOs etc.

Maybe then you will get more serious than not.

Good luck with your search!

i would ask people on your yard first. If your keeping the horse on the same yard then at least you can keep an eye on it. I would also get something drawn up in writing so if it does go pear shaped youve got something to back you up.

I've just starting the process of loaning my 6yr old mare out and i've already got a few people lined up that seem perfect for her, these are all through word of mouth! I'm spoilt for choice now.I'm going to go see a lady's yard where my mare would be kept so i will have a good chance to think about who will be best to have her.I put in my add things like 'would suit mum that wants to have fun' 'ideal adults ride', 'experienced competant rider needed as still learning'. etc etc.
Good luck with it.
