Hi everyone,
I posted the other day about going to see a horse to share this weekend and a couple of people asked for an update.
Well, I saw the horse and he and his owner were lovely but the horse was a bit big, strong and green for me (I've never had my own before or looked after one before) so I was slightly concerned about ruining him etc. Instinct told me to say no and keep looking.
So, I just wondered if anyone knows of anywhere I could advertise myself in the north milton keynes area? I'm looking for something fairly easy (as it would be my first) and hoping to ride maybe one weekend a month and one or two nights a week.
Experience wise I am Ok in the saddle, cmfortable in walk, trot and canter, can achieve stuff like leg yield and shoulder-in walk and trot on most (riding school) horses and also achieve correct canter and counter canter. I know the importance of exercises like these when schooling. I like to pop a jump when I get the chance too.
On th ground it isn't much, ued to help look after my aunties field ornament years ago and know hoe to tack, untack and rug safely etc.
Would anyone want this type of sharer and where might I find someone suited?
