Hi, I have a sharer who has my horse 3 days a week and pays £23 per week towards costs. This was working really well but she has to give up due to personal reasons. How much do you think it would be reasonable to charge for 2 days? Someone is coming to view her but she indicated she wanted 2 days per week.

At the moment I work full time and am doing a Postgrad course in my spare time so need a sharer time wise but also financially as saving up to hopefully go back to Uni to do a PGCE.

Yard has indoor Monarch stabling, indoor and outdoor school, its DIY but I put her out in morning sharer wouldn't be required to do that. They would be doing jobs but she's turned out daily unless weather is really bad. She's on rubber matting so mucking out doesn't take long. It's a nice but expensive DIY yard. Country lane hacking. They would have her as if there own on those days. In Lancashire. Thoughts?

Thanks for reply. I'm inbetween Preston/ Blackpool.

There is a local dressage comp in hacking distance too, which I'm happy for them to take part in.

you could maybe agree that they pay for shoes or feet being trimmed or something? Give them something that they can be in charge of, and if the horses hooves are in a state, they cant ride, so its in their intrest to get it sorted :)

Vodkagirly- agree with you, I think having the indoor is definately a bonus.

I'm aiming to save the £3500 needed to keep her for the year during my year of studying. Ideally I need as much as I can get to put towards her costs for the year but I don't want to say too higher amount and put people off. At the moment I reply on my time off from my horse to do my University work.

I was thinking £18? (All in), possibly £20 but I wasn't sure if that was too much and I know winter isn't the best time to advertise.
