Any advice???
I have a 13 year oldsSec A gelding, of super bloodlines. He was bought as a lead rein for my 5 year old to lean to ride on.
We have had a him a year. He is good to handle, by children, very grumpy but just face pulling no action with it. He is great on the lead rein in the menage, however here in lies my problem....
Off lead rein he is sharp, spooky etc. Even on lunge with my little girl he broncs.
All teeth, back and saddle regularly checked. He is fed on simple systems luice neets and beet, so low sugar etc.
I work him during the week, hack him (and he spooks with me!) and my daughter rides at weekends.
I am at the point where I don't know if he is worth selling, as it seems he is bored on lead rein in the school. He is a super jumping pony, and would be a fab games pony. My daughter is just not ready if she was a small confident 8 year rider, i think we would have a super pc pony.
Do we battle on, or 5sell him and buy a confidence giver. My daughter has no relationship with this pony, and my fear she will loose interest :(
Anyone else had this?

Have you tried your local pony club, fab for either a loan home with view that he will learn loads and poss then be better for your little girl when she's learn more/more confident and you could then have him back or you will find a sale home and poss do a swop???

Hope it works out, my neighbour went through the pc with her daughters last three ponies and loaned/brought some fab ponies - she's had schoolmasters to start and has now progressed to lovely mare. I'm sure you will find a fab solution to your current situation :)
