Shavings Fork Recommendations

I can't comment on the ones you mentioned as haven't used either but I can recommend Future Fork. Light weight, strong and come in various lengths of handle.

I bought a fyna-lite fork after struggling for a couple of months with one of the cheaper plastic shaving forks. Was definitely worth it. Unfortunately can't comment on the Harold Moore ones.

I work for Harold Moore so would be biased in recommending us. But if you are looking for a lightweight, quality, pretty much unbreakable item that is made in the u.k then we are the right place to buy from. If you are of a smaller height then the standard size shavings fork would be perfect for you. All of our items plus information on weight, height and colours are available to view on our web page at Harold Moore.

Can't comment on the ones your looking at but again I recommend the future fork. I'm 5'2 and have the mini one but only because the maxi one tends to hurt my very dodgy shoulder. I also like the length better on the mini. But it down to personal choice. Have a friend who 5'4 and she prefers the maxi to the mini. but they are lightweight and strong. Highly recommend thenm.

I've used several different makes but prefer 'Fynalite'. I prefer a fork made of metal, they are strong, last ages & don't weigh much anyway. Fynalite make various sizes as well, plus I found a tack shop selling them for under £23 which is very reasonable. :)

I'm 5.1 and bought the mini fynalite when I first had my horse. Two weeks later I was crippled with back pain. I put a long handle on the fork and it was fine. On my second fork now - good value for 10 years of horse ownership on a busy livery yard, where tools are borrowed.
