Shavings or wood pellet bedding for full feathers?

I currently use shavings but am thinking wood pellets may be better for winter and drying legs. Any thoughts?

You are correct. Wood pellets dry everything out but don't stick to anything, especially good for hooves when the ground is horridly wet and muddy.

Hmm, may consider changing then, trouble is I love a deep shavings bed. I wonder if it makes any difference to the neddy ....

If you like the fluffiness of shavings how about using peletts as the bas with shavings top and banks. I only use pelletts but know people who do the mix.

I know mine lies down flat out as she's been seen, but as the pellets don't stick there's only the indent in the bed and flat poos to show there's been any action.
