anyone source their shavings direct and get a better price? if you do where do you get them from and what prices do you pay per bale and for delivery

can you just arrive at a mill and fill a big bag of shavings direct without it being processed?

We order them direct from the manufacturer - White Horse http://www.whitehorseshavings.com/

They will deliver nationwide but a minimum delivery of 560 bales! You can collect as many/little as you like from the factory for £4.50 a bale

Its good quality large flake shavings in the normal size bales around 22kg - pretty much dust free as the shavings are bigger then normal - manufactured as horse bedding rather than a byproduct

We use over 2000 bales a year so we get 560 at a time
