Which do you find better? Currently on shavings but a few people have said easibed is better. Some have a mix of the two. What do you all think?

I was a huge fan of easibed for years. However after having some not so nice things appear in the bales and then going on to rubber matting I changed to shavings and use hunter shavings they are amazing, so wouldn't go back now

I personally prefer shaving as i find them easier to manage, and they look nicer

I preferred Easibed as I found the horses did not move them around as much as they did the shavings when they got up. They do work best with deep litter or semi-dep litter.

I did a winter on easibed (20 horses ) spent nearly 3 times as much compared to shavings,(even though i bought easibed at trade price by the artic load!) never had such smelly stables! I found the wet just ran through the bed (full beds mucked out properly every day!) so back to shavings again, mixing big flake (bedmax) with finer shavings! clean fresh beds and horses and rugs! Though i did buy all my shavings in June at summer rates!!
