Shavings

Does anyone know of any particular type of wood that is not suitable for horses bedding. I have just been offered a load for free and I just want to be sure that will not cause any harm to neddies. Obviously I would make sure that they had no nails or other sharp objects in them.

I think hardwood shavings can cause problems - (oak, mahogany, etc.)
