best shavings for a horse with possible allergies to straw?
also what sort of prices are we looking at?

I use Snowflake shavings, cost £8 and are dust free. Each bale is very compact and you get a lot of shavings.

l use bedmax for our yard ,very good,compact ,big fluffy shavings...buy them in bulk ..much cheaper

if i buy them locally £6.77 bale or in bulk get them at £5.15 bale delivered but have to buy two pallets (84bales)

Depending on how many you can buy at once try ringing your local Arnold Laver branch, they usually sell shavings and should be good quality.
