SHB (GB) Stallion gradings

I had to go at 1pm so missed quiet a bit, does anyone know what is happening today? At the end did anyone go through the marks of those presented? It would be useful to hear what the judges had to say, there was nothing while the presentations where taking place.

Still not entirely sure which ones graded. We are off to Hartpury to watch the BWBS grading nut will be able to stay and watch that one!

I know most of the ones that passed. They were Primitive Proposal, Jazz Time III, Forinth, Cavalier King, Festival Van Texelhof and Cassiola. I thinks Zoals and Winsten V passed as well.
The pictures of the grading are up on pleasure prints website although I dont think they do any of the stallions justice to be honest.

on the Pleasure Prints website anyone know who the stallion is that is shown on the front page of the SHB Grading section, getting his rosette, shows no. 112 on bridle I think but obviously not 112 stallions forward. Thanks if you know.

How odd that one of the boys that failed has been winning in the show ring. At the BEF he scored 83.5% and 85% and 88% at the id grading. If his offspring start doing well it will just add to the weight of those that feel the grading system does not work. I understand the BEF is not a grading system or a tool for determining the stallion potential of a horse, but it should give a good indication of its attributes as a sportshorse. Showing should indicate how good the conformation, movement etc is for that particular breed or type.
