I take the dogs to the horses with me whenever possible. Aled usually has a mooch, bit of a play and then gets back in the car.

Luna used to go completely mad. It’s the only place I feel comfortable letting her off lead for a good run around and she can’t go anywhere. She’s pretty indifferent to the horses, tends to run about in the field they aren’t in, or sticks to me if she comes in when I’m poo picking etc. She now has a little blast, settles down and is just lovely. I do watch her like a hawk.

She seems to have grown so quickly! She is beautiful and it sounds like she is doing you proud. I am not a husky expert by any stretch of the imagination but having read about them from various rescues/experienced owners it would seem they can be fine off lead for long enough and then one day just take off and run and run and run ... Also their prey drive is legendary and many of the recent sheep worrying cases in Wales have been attributed to the husky and husky type breeds. So just a word of caution, but I am sure you are well aware of the all the above any way.
