Just left her utterly distraught mum and on her way to me. Why am I so sad?

It’s ok to feel sad, and probably stems from when you had to say goodbye to her before so it’s relatable emotion. Hope she travels ok and settles in lovely for you! (Sorry, I had to dig up your other thread for context as I hadn’t seen that one . I hope this makes sense!)
