Well, Ebony went in for her op on Thursday and had it late Friday afternoon. They removed two screws but because they were so deep (covered in bone) they had to knock her out fully
and then take several X-rays to pinpoint their location. Anyway, I went to see her yesterday and she seemed really happy in herself, uncomfortable but the surgeon said that considering what she's been through she's coping better than he expected so I'm really proud of my girly.
I'm a bit dissapointed that then had to fully anesthatise her (sorry terrible at spelling) as it obviously makes it more expensive but it was better for her. Also the inscision on her leg was oroginally going to be a 2cm hole maximum, they have actually opened up an area as big as the original scar which will take longer to heal
Anyhow the main thing is that she's doing well and she's on a new form of antibiotic so there's even less chance of infection. I'm off to malton to see her tomorrow so really looking forward to seeing her again! Please send healing vibes to my brave, strong girly, she has been amazing throughout all of this, not put her ears back once and stood for 4months in her stable with no misbehaving whatsoever. Such a proud mummy right now. So many people said I should've had her put down and that she wasn't worth it I think she's proved them wrong with her amazing attitude and strenght, I don't think I could've gone through what she's gone through.
