I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope you know that you did the right thing, her pain is gone now, but that leaves you in pain. Unlike with your horse, the pain will eventually ease, though we all know you will always miss her.

You did the best thing by her.
Well done for doing this difficult thing. But think now... She feels no pain. She can be free from the pain.
