She might have cancer

Thanks guys! I've to go inject her for the rest of the week with anti b's and hope that they will bring the lump down! but if not will have to take her for a biopsy next week!

She's totally fine in herself, nice a fat for the winter, eating fine! her normally grumpy self telling off the little boy and refusing to walk away from the nice long grass earlier! the only thing is when I put her back in the field she stood there looking grumpy but I'm sure that because I took her away from the nice grass!!

She 27 and the vet said she's got great teeth for her age and she is looking really well under her rug! so hopefully its nothing serious! but the lumps not gone down in about 2 weeks!

Stop your stressing - little lad a 10 year old racer - had a sting on his nose in the summer - that was still a lump 10 weeks later - it has started to go down now . The mouth is a really difficult area to heal, its warm and moist all the time.

Good luck mate

well its on her cheek area and she's had antihistamines (spelling) and they've not worked! the lump is more hard rather than a normal squishy allergic reaction!

I said that the vet I was worried it was cancer and she said its highly likely at her age (27)

but fingers x'd we are both wrong! and that I can get over my fear and do the injection in the morning!

One of ours has had a lump for the last few years.

To start with, it was diagnosed as just his glands being up after being quite ill. But, it never went away. We had it re-seen to a year on from it originally showing, as the dentist commented on it.
Vet said it could be a harmless melanoma [grey] or obviously, more serious cancer.
They wanted to do a biopsy to see, but, all the time he's been happy and well and the best he's been, so we declined. I'm not a fan of biopsy's, as I think they can do more harm than good. All the time it is contained in one place, the better.

That was about 2 years ago just over it appeared. It hasn't got worse over time, not has he changed for the worse in any way shape or form.
If it was cancer, then, it would be PTS due to where it is.
So, all the time he's happy and well, he can stay that way. He's regularly checked, is in full work and is healthy as a horse [excuse the bad pun].

Fingers crossed for you both. x
