Sheading Labrador...

I know, I know, Labs, especially goldens shed a bit(I've had 5 in my life,) but our current dog "Arthur" sheds constantly, brushed or not, Winter,Spring, summer and fall....

Any suggestions?

A kennel? I am in my mid 50's and what like him to still sleep at the foot of my bed! My son's mother also didn't want him in our new restored house. I talked her into him just staying in the kitchen...

Awfully good protection against burglars...The best they say...

Plus he NEVER argues with me!

when we puppy walked for the guide dogs my mum kept threatening to vacuum the dog to save time!
It is one of the joys of owning a lab, that and not leaving anything edible within 5' of the floor, sitting in cupboards with them when there is a storm even though they are trained to the gun (not the guide dogs) and learning to plaster when they decide that plaster is edible as puppies.

Seriously i would only worry if your dog is getting bald spots.
 
I have 2 labs. Our old boy has never really been a big shedder of his coat. But then again he hasn't got a double coat, bless him it really is appauling

Our younger girl though.. by god does she shed! But she likes to be hoovered so it saves time

She constantly gets in the way of the hoover until she is actually hoovered!
You tried that on Arthur?
