Shed lighting ideas

Can anyone recommend a good light for a shed with no electrical power please?

i use a car battery (got free) and an inspection lamp (less than £10)

you need to buy the one with crocodile clips.mine is used for about 10 mins a night and the battery rearly needs charging.

I use a solar powered light - hubby set it up, small panel clipped to guttering, pull on/off light inside stable. Does for sorting out feeds/haynets.

Look up barge or houseboat lighting, there are some solar and battery type lights for those that are ideal for sheds and barns.

I light my stables (3) with 12v lights attached to a car battery with croc clips.

If you are lighting a small shed you could just hang a torch up. You can get a small round one with a magnet and a hook for less than £5 including batteries. If it is larger them as others have said a car battery or solar panel connected to lights check you get the right voltage or have a converter for the lights themselves is easy enough to set up.
