Local feed barn sells replacements, really randomly! Its Elm Farm Feeds in claygate, the number should be on the internet or in a local horse mag thing .Am sure if you asked nicely they would post?

I used to put a bit of fairy liquide on it and wash with warm water then wash off with cold it comes up like new and fluffy !!
 
Here's a suggestion why don't you buy some sheepskin pieces ( I got some off ebay they were off cuts) then cut to shape. Sew or glue some velcro on the back of them and stick or stitch the opposite ( either material or gripper depending on what you put on sheepskin bit) on the underside of the grackle. Voila you can then have a few to choose from and can remove them easily to wash.

I used to use sheepskin with my hackamore and also on a breastgirth, I went to a charity shop and bought a sheepskin jacket for a fiver. You can choose your colour too, there are always loads of jackets for sale.
