I qualified Bloss for the elementary championship there last year (you have to get two scores of 65% and above at elementary to qualifiy). Anyways standard is very high, but i had a fantastic time!! It its a bit snobby, and lots of spoilt rich kids with 'mummy & daddy' in tow and their fantastic brand new oakley horse boxes! But i loved it, the shopping is great too!

Arenas are a bit spooky - one of the banners came loose half way through my test and poor Blossy nearly had heart failure

They water the outdoor warmup for some reason - so dont wear white bandages when warming up as last time mine got ruined as the black stained them. The indoor warmup is nice, can get a bit busy.

They also do an elementary thing where you ride one elementary one day and i think its the top 15 go through to the next day to compete against each other in the 'final'. Something like that.

I had a great time anyways, im sure you would do really well there.

Oh I would definately go!!! I would like to go too but I fear I have passed the U25s some years ago!

Im going this year as qualified for the elementary champs...it will be my first time going..i want to try and do the music class too i think if it is running this year! do they make it a big occassion-r the arenas all "dressed up" as it were?

I'm going along with most of my yard this year. Everyone at my yard has been and says it's fab so I can't wait!! Doing the Novice and Elementarys and maybe a Medium as well as hopefully being on the South West team for the BYRDS competition.

yea but it looks like u will be providing alot of the hot competition!!! look at ur photos-ur horses look awesome!!! sounds like it will be a fun week tho!

Just up the road from me, lovely venue, always organised and the bonus to us 'locals' is that the arenas are always dressed like that - I'm far too old for the YR's show but will likely go up to watch

We could have OLD BYRDS on the backs of our matching jackets

- Might not look quite the same though over thick waistlines, lumpy thighs and sagging bottoms but I reckon we could all giggle like silly girls.

Senior training..???!! Where?? When??!! Ok I want an OLD BYRDS T-shirt... watch this space!!!! GODS?? really or are you pulling my leg??!!! wonder what it stands for???!!!
