Hubby says it does happen! He can’t say for sure why it happens but he says that sheep that are down in condition often throw their fleece when they start to thrive so it might also be linked to that.

I have been told that a sheep that has had poor health throws the fleece when in good health again as they have the strength to replace a bad fleece with a good one, I am not sure if it is the antibiotics so much as the return to health
