Shelf life of Speedi-beet ??

Does anyone know how long dry speedi-beet lasts ?

I stopped using it about April time and have about half a bags worth left and will probably start again come September. I emptied the bag into a bin for ease of use and stupidly didn't check the bag for a use by date !!

Do you think it will still be ok to use by September or should I dispose of and buy new??

Contact the place you bought it from, or the manufacturers....

I think it be fine if it has been kept dry.

I was told a year should be fine as long as its kept properly and dry away from vermin!! The bag would have been no good there is no use by date on them. I know as i asked the same question a couple of months ago as i couldnt find one!!

I bought some D&H Kwik beet in around April and checked the expiry date on the bag - which was Feb 2008!

I checked the date on the bag specifically as don't feed it during the summer and wanted to make sure it would be ok for the start of winter..

Bag we bought 3 weeks ago has a best before date of 01/02/08 but no use by date

Thanks Miller, I brought my bag new about feb/march time so guess it should still be ok come Sept then, thats great ! The bin its in isn't air tight but its kept nice and dry and away from any mice.
