now you see I would have stopped that as it was getting out of hand I could see the cat possibly being hurt there.

Our GSD plays with the 2 cats, and I sometimes have to intervene if she's getting a bit boisterous. But if I stop the game the cats invariably go back over to her and start patting her with their paws and trying to start things up again

My GSD is totally in love with one our cats, I do the same as you and then the cat starts on the GSD
