I really am not a fan of the Shergar Cup! It is a whimsical farce. I could quite happily live without this on the racing calendar!

Ah, cant beat a bit of whimsy sometimes!
With regards to the racing calendar, Im pondering more on the increased level of meetings next year particularly the later evening ones. From what Ive been reading on Racing Post recently, there is a general shortage of stable staff in general, so things could get even more stretched as staff cant always be expected to burn the candles at both ends. Anyway, bit off topic there. Sure thats another discussion for another thread sometime.
