Well, some of you may remember me posting a few months back regarding a Percheron mare I was getting.

Well, today she arrived.

This is the long awaited Jess.

She came off that lorry as quiet as a lamb. She was perfect the whole journey. Never put a foot wrong. She is everything I was hoping for and more.

Now for the fun to begin.

Pretty dapples! :D

I'm so glad that she travelled so well. it looks like she settled into her new home quickly too. :)

She wasnt even the slightest bit warm when she came off.

She just walked calmly down the ramp, then we put her straight into her paddock. She trotted around for about a max of 20 seconds then just put her head down and started eating. We left her tonight munching on some hay at about 10 o'clock, when you could no longer see properly. Roll on tomorrow morning.

I bet you get hardly any sleep tonight!

When my mare came, I was too excited to sleep and wanted to go check her at the crack of dawn! ;)

A couple of pics I took this morning. She was still in the right field which was a relief.

She also had her 1st lesson in manners and how to respect personal space this morning. It started with her trying to walk through me, and ended with her stepping back purely on a single voice command! She is very willing, eager to please, and a very fast learner. Considering she hasnt had hardly any handling for 18 months, she is a very big lamb.

Heres the pics. Hope you like.

What a sweetie!

Have lots's of fun with her :-)

Quick question, how do you put Pics like that on your posts?

Thank you.

If you open a photobucket account (which is totally free) and put your photos on there, then you just copy IMG code from the pic and paste it into your post, and hey presto. You have pics. (Don't worry, I had to ask too) lol.

She is gorgeous, could be the twin sis of my boy. If you want to try something different with her, try side saddle. I have just started riding my boy like this and he is a lot more comfortable than my thoroughbred, it looks very impressive too.

So so pretty! Hope you have soo much fun with her :)

The dually's are brill! I used one to school my boy on the ground as he just does not respect personal space, on the ground he is pretty much the perfect horse after 2 months :)

She's Goregeous :D Hope you have many years of happiness and fun.

Duallys are fantastic! Taught my boy so many manners when he wore it still have it now but hard to do up and my TBxID decided to chew the holes so now all stuck together. Might but a new one. Love the colour of yours suits her perfectly xx
