Shes gone........

I went to visit her on last time this morning loaded with cow parsley and carrots and cuddles.
She went before, it was over very quickly. My cob whom i was worried about was calm and very relaxed when it happened, not stressed atall - i think she knew.
I left her in the hands of my trusted vet - she was so lame this morning, am just glad shes now on her way over rainbow bridge
Thank you again everyone for your support - everyone has been so kind xxx

My beautiful girl in her prime, doing what she loved most

So sad but a good ending and you did what was best.

I will be having to make this decision very soon with my old boy.
It's difficult but we have to do what is right for them, not ignore it because its difficult for us.

What a lovely photo to remember your horse by. She looks like she was a great horse and you will have many happy memories of her to treasure for many years to come. Your horse is now out of pain and you have done the best you could for her and allowed her to pass over the rainbow bridge in calm and familiar surroundings

I'm so sorry and hope you are okay XXX.
(((((BIG HUGS)))))
R.I.P. Beautiful Girl :'(

Remember, there are always people on here at all times of the night and day if you need someone to talk to.

Take care, and here's another (((((BIG HUG))))) XXX

I am so very sorry. We lost our beloved lab on monday (Shy's best friend), and the pain I am in I wouldn't wish on anybody. My heart is broken, and I am sure your's is too.

I'm taking rescue remedy and it seems to take the edge off - other than that, sending you lots of hugs.

Run free xx

(((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) to you. I know you don't know me but if you need to talk or just need someone to listen feel free to message me anytime. In time the happy memorys will out weigh the pain. But right now just let it all out if you need to. Cry as much as you want to. Talk about her as much as you want to or if you can't talk about her right now thats ok she'll understand. It doesn't mean you don't love her. I couldn't talk about Lucy for weeks after I lost her. I couldn't even look at a photo of her for afew months as it just hurt to much. We all deal with the pain diffrently and there is no right or wrong way of dealing with it. You just do what you need to do. We are all here whenever you need us.

RIP Beautiful Lady. xx

Hope she enjoys her eternity galloping and jumping around Rainbow Bridge C&O. I'm glad to hear that it all went so quietly: it must have made things that bit easier, especially for you and cob. Sympathies and thoughts with you *hugs*

:) She was so lucky to have such a thoughtful owner to release her from her pain, chin up, you did the most decent thing .

Beautiful Girl. Rest in peace, and if you see a handsome white gelding waiting over the rainbow bridge its because he always had a thing for a tall brown girl!

Hugs to OP. xxxx
