I just knew she was going to foal the night/early morning when she did, I watched her for a while. I have a load of teat pics on my phone if you want some!! I find them useful to chart progress. She went over slightly by my reckoning. It's awful waiting. I hope your mare has a safe foaling. I sometimes chuckle to myself, my friend used to work at a TB stud and foaling was so clinical etc. Mine foal out in the wild!

She's been waxed up since Wednesday, dripping milk for two days. She's at a local stud just down the road for foaling but I'm still checking her 4 times a day. Apparently, time of foal is dictated by this: "I can't take any more of this" plus 3 days! So I'm thinking Monday. She's only 330 days so I guess it could go on for longer but I'm hoping milk and wax means sooner as I could really do with seeing that foal!

Well.....if it was a colt then yes but a filly I was going to sell so I wasn't tempted to run another out on the forest. We'll see!
