She's never done that before...

Aw she is just going 'No! I shan't! You upset mother!'

Some horses do just have a strong bond with one person only. I still think in some way my horse chose me instead of me choosing him. He reared with the girl who rode him before me at the viewing when he spooked at something but he went closer to the scary thing with me asking him to, even though I was scared he was going to throw me off. He does take care of me even when he is scared too which is nice, he hasnt tried to throw me off deliberately either and that includes when he had saddles on that didnt fit and were hurting him (we sadly didnt know that at the time). Yeah he has his moments where he decides he doesnt want to work and he knows exactly how to scare me (by basically doing anything I dont want him to do), but if I ride him through it and ignore him, he shuts up and does what he's told. An instructor has said he just puts on an act and he does it to everyone, he acts like he's going to be dangerous, but he hasnt got the nerve to follow through on it. Just a big drama queen.

Its weird though about how the more I get to know him the more I realise how much he is like me in personality. We are almost exactly the same, just he is braver. :P

Great video - thanks for sharing.
Love that she was able to make you laugh when you've had such a rough time. Your OH doesn't look traumatised - she was clearly playing dumb and it was a very well placed stamp. You can almost see her snigger!!
Horses can read humans better than humans can! Clever (if not slightly cheeky) horse.

I think its hilarious and have watched it about ten times now. I've shown my OH it as well. Hes not horsey but often gets roped in to doing stuff when I'm not feeling great, and even he got the horse was being "difficult" and that your OH got a telling off :)

That's it damnation. You can hardly believe how they change with a different person.

She's now read the thread and demanded a lemon curd sandwich delivered at bed time. I've had to put my foot down and say it wouldn't fit her low sugar and starch diet.

Oh go on, you know you want to :-)
