she totally blew her lid this is defo what she needed to have some breathing space...and to be honest although she's been lame watching her out in the field she has certainly improved she even cantered something she hasn't been able to do since her injury so it's obvioulsy settled down and just hope she doesnt come in too lame tonight, will be going back up shortly...then I may do one day out one day in...see how she gets on but am so glad shes out she really seemed to have a happy happy face on and once she ran around she soon settled to eating....so glad she's happier!

Sorry for this pointless post but am chuffed she is (hopefully) on the end of the box rest malarky...i hate having her couped up...

Thanks also for those that helped with my last question about her being a total twit when walking out in hand....

Fingers crossed that she will be caught and wont be too bad to come in lame wise...

well she wasnt being caught for about 5mins...threw herself around the field again, til i tricked her, then the others started hooning around...got her out of gate and she kicked out and squeled...she's such a twit she really is and then was jogging all the way back to stable....she isnt too bad either which is great certainly not lame like she was...she just needs to get the muscles stretching again, so will put her back out tomorrow pm...and will speak to vet about next course of action for her...so here's hoping by next year she will be sound enough to be sat on for a while?...who knows?

Isn't it a pity that we cann't build a small pen in front of their stables, full of lovely grass, so that they can amble about seeing things taking the stress out of box rest and giving us poor owners a stressless time when they can go out proper like.
