Shetland ponies need a home

Someone has alerted me to this post on the Shetland pony website - can anyone help her? (if you want to see the post in situ go to http://www.shetlandponyweb.com/> , go to news, general and it under "a cry for help")

"I hope that you can be of some assistance to us....we have sort of inherited two wild Shetland ponies from my husbands ex-wife! We live in Orkney and neither of us have a clue re ponies and we are selling up and relocating back to Yorkshire. We are desperate to get these lovely natured ponies re-homed and want nothing for them apart from peace of mind that they are cared for by people who know about them. We are told that if no-one wants them and we leave they will be put down.....surely this cant be their fate???? Please can you advise us or help to put us in touch with someone who can."

Have sent email. We could take them [Silver Florin Equine Welfare] but would need them closer to be picked up. Anyone availbale to help do a few miles each?

I would help deliver them going to scotland on Friday, however dont have transport, so if someone wants to lend us transport then i could help..ie drive them back

I would definately take one of them as i am looking for a companion for my mare, but i am in Lincolnshire...
A bit too far to travel unfortunately!
