so... i went to view the little shetland yesterday morning. he was absolutely deeeeeelicious, and perfect. bombproof, solid, safe, sound... cute, cuddly and PERFECT.

as we were leaving, i told them i really liked him, and that i'd have a chat with my husband, and promised to ring them in the evening to tell them what we'd decided. if i'm honest, i was trying to play it cool cos i knew we'd have him straight away...

on the way home... my waters went... 6 weeks early... so i had to go to stupid hospital.... and spend the night there... i've just got home and rang the lady to say we wanted him... and the children have decided they can't bear to part with him so he's not for sale anymore...

heartbreaking, he was so totally perfect...

i'm currently 3/5 engaged, and have been having lots of 'symptoms'. i'm also doing a very good impression of a whale. so i think i won't be long. are you also gigantic, out of breath and slightly sweaty?

as for the shetland, i'm not annoyed, as the kids were lovely, and i can totally understand them wanting to keep him.

swit swoo, you sound almost as sexy as me...

i win though, as i spent last night in a nylon, hospital issue, nightgown, with an open back, and no underwear (as my husband 'forgot' my overnight bag, and my underwear had soaked through when my waters went....). let's just say my (frequent) waddles to the toilet were, um, embarrassing

my first two were also early (induced cos waters went early)... i'm hoping this one stays in until we've moved house... x

Aaah, it's a shame about the Sheltie but it's good that you're not cross about it. There will be plenty more lovely ponies to be found.

You must be getting so excited! New baby AND new house... actually, that sounds more stressful than exciting, but still!

When you've moved, I will babysit for you.
