It depends if you want a standard or a mini, colour, gender, age etc.

If your not fussy a rescue will probably have loads. If not drop your local shetland pony group a message.

The South East Group and Midlands Groups are your best bet.

Thanks Elf, not fussed about anything really, wont be showing but would like a nice personality. Are those groups on FB?

This is a link to the contact details of the group secretaries. The groups themselves can be found on fb too. Very few have actual websites these days.

There is a nice breeder in Hertfordshire and Devon Helawi shetlands they are on Facebook, known a few of the ponies and have been lovely some real show quality in hand and ridden.

Ah Aus, I learnt to ride on one aged 5, he was evil, I think he truly hated kids :) I know Im asking for trouble, my highland pony proof fencing wont hold a shetland for starters but now Ive stopped riding I really need a pony to occupy some time, I figured this would work!!
