Shetlands wearing cardigans....!!

It adjust advertising a particular brand of wool. Calm down everyone, it's not dog-fashion creeping in....

Although its mighty cute.... :D

Ahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!

Awww bless them. What little angels... I'm getting used to it now... I think my horse would look good in an Arran pullover :D move over shires rugs...

It's what is called in the trade as a "laugh" a bit of fun, an advertising talking point....seems to have done the trick.......

No such thing as "wild" Shetland ponies in Shetland, they all belong to someone even though they might be in the open hill.

Not photoshopped and not actually clothing for horses, its a photo opportunity for Scottish tourist board campaign.
The owner of the Shetlands owns a very well respected Shetland stud.

Are they your girls Francis144? They are gorgeous :)

The even have the same forelocks, Holly's is short and Minnie's is epic so I keep it plaited a lot of the time. They are 26 and 30 years old!!!

I see you are in Shetland, I am in Southern Hampshire, about 2 miles inland from the Isle of Wight!!

Oh wow this has made be wonder how much wool I would need to make a cardi for sisters big mare, I spin my own, but think it may take me some time and a fair few fleeces :D

Seriously, I nearly choked when I first saw this. The irony is brilliant, but if I ever met a shett dressed like that I'd have serious words with it.
