Yes indeed, that is 3 out of 4 horses in my field who are now lame. It must be catching! Poor Copper has pulled a shoe off one of his teeny dainty feet and as I have (as yet) not told Farrier that he is mine (and was hoping to maintain said composure until 5 weeks when he needs shoeing) I will now need to tell him so that I get my shoeing "discount". Bloody horses, who'd have em eh??

Well I told Farrier today that I owned "that strange horse in the field" and he flipped his lid, told me I should move out and get another bf etc. But he's come around now and will put the shoe back on Sunday. Phew. Just as well he doesn't know about the other 2..... ;)

Who did he think it belonged to? :)

Oh, I often have random horses in my field who are just passing through or there for the weekend, it's quite common! The other 2 belong to my "friends".

Mrs M, do you mean use duct tape on farrier to shut him up?? (and WHY have you taken down your pretty pictures? Hope it wasn't due to stupid nosy ignorants..??)

Actually I had thought of duct tape to hold shoe on lol, but on farrier is indeed an option :D

M'pretty pictures :D. No, nothing to do with dimwits :rolleyes::D; I wanted some different ones up that show how Dizz has changed over the last nearly two years. Yikes, so long! :D. She's coming along so nicely now :D. D1 has hacked her out on her own and in company and been able to go for a blast and stop and there's been no silliness (on either part lol). She's also starting to relax and stretch down and take the contact. Yum. It makes me go all gooey :D. It's so grand that she's doing so well :D. I want something that represents that, however as I'm useless at these things, it is no doubt going to be a while before I manage to get the pics together and into a siggy lol :D
