Why is it so expensive or is this the norm?

I wanted a bridle bag, saddle bag and a hay bag, that I have not seen anwhere in this country, I am a zebra fanatic so when I saw these I almost peed my pants with excitement,

They also had zebra splint boots and o.r boots, travel boots,
I know its a bit OTT but I liked them

They wanted £50 just for the shipping of the saddle/bridle and hay bag,

anybody know if you can get stuff like that in this country??

Dont do it lol, sometimes you have to pay a fee on top of the postage. I bought a saddle from america for £500 with free postage. Customs put a charge on when it came through, when i got the call that it had arrived i went to collect and had to pay £125 to get it

Couldnt believe it... Wasnt a happy bunny and id never buy anything from america again. Worked out to be a very expensive saddle for what it was. x

The shipping costs vary. Some charge more than others, so ask first. For larger items, USPS seems to be the cheapest.
You may still have to pay duty though. Have being buying from the USA for years, and some sellers are very reasonable, but there are some on ebay who charge a fortune.

yeah it was on ebay i saw them,
oh no im worrying now because I have just bought something from america hope i dont get a call with a duty fee to pay.
