Shipping horses Internationally

Hello everyone!

I have a contact that wishes to ship a horse from the UK to America (West coast) and i wondered if anyone had any recommendations for agents? Has anyone done it before?

Try IRT - International Racehorse Transport, they do all sorts of horses and my friend runs the N America route. Also BBA - British Bloodstock Agency. We do quarantine for both these companies and have had everything from top racehorses to Gypsy cobs and Shire horses!

The name I always see mentioned is Pedens for flying horses and have an excellent rep in the industry.
