had anyone used one of these? wondering how they compare to sweet iron and brass alloy in terms of encouraging salivation. ive not seen them before.

They look to be copies of Bombers Bits.... never used either really so cant comment either way! They look nice enough and well made though....god knows wether or not the blue alloy mouthpieces make any difference or not though??

With the huge copper rings in them im not sure i would want to put one in my sensitive horses mouth - worries her tounge would get inched.

They dont look any more loose or larger than other snaffles with rollers out there to be fair (certainly look a lot nicer than a lot of the sweet irons that have multiple loose rings around the middle joint) The mullen mouth snaffle looks very nice indeed and is a cheaper option for someone wanting to try that style of bit before making a potentially costly mistake on the 'real thing'

i dont even know what a bomber is (off to google) the bit i saw and meant is a simple snaffle with a lozenge - it was the blue alloy material i was meaning to ask about rather than style of bit? Is it just like sweet iron?
