I'm thinking about getting myself a pair of Shires Dakota or Mountain Horse Classic boots. I want a pair of boots that I can ride and walk comfortably in but I have ridiculously small feet and if they come up big then a 3 is unlikely to fit me without really thick socks. Does anyone have either of the above or can recommend something similar (even better a kids version as I can't seem to find anything like these styles in child sizes). Are they comfortable? Do they come up big/small/about right? I don't want to spend a fortune probably £100 max.

ive got mh classic and they are quite generous in size and are quite wide which is good for me....dont think they would suit if you havent got wide feet... i find them comfortable and they last for ages...

Thanks splashgirl, I did think that might be the case. Having tiny feet makes things so difficult! Looking at the European sizing on the Dakotas suggest they're likely to come up smaller so I may try them.

there are some cheap mh easy rider short boots on e bay...size 30 and 32...they are buy it now £8....have no idea how these sizes compare to adult but may be worth a try if they seem ok. i have easy riders and they are very comfortable and lightweight but really only for use in the dry...
