I came across these by mistake today- they featured in a sale email i was sent. I thought they looked quite interesting, was thinking for my head shaker horse to be able to keep a more consistent contact perhaps. The description below sounds like it could be worth a try with him for the price.
Has anyone tried them? I have had a little search and its been mentioned its a bit difficult to add a martingale, or at least to add martingale stops (which i want).
Also see someone pointed out they add a lot onto your rein length making them too long.
I wondered if pony size ones would fit and add less? Or would they also be too narrow to attach to full size reins? My reins are maybe ever so slightly too short anyway so a bit longer won't hurt.
Worth a little try or a complete waste of money? I'm wondering if a bit of stretch may just protect his mouth a bit when hes wound up or antsy with his head.
