Sorry planning a head. Looking to order a fly rug for my boy hopefully in the winter sales

Have seen a well priced shires and wondered if they come up big like most other shires products?

He's between 6'6 and 6'9. Depending on the brand 6'9 in weatherbeeta but got an amigo sweat sheet in 6'9 and it's huge on him

I love mine. I'd never bought a shires rug before but have been really impressed with its quality and the fit is excellent on my arab. She usually wears a 5.9 in premier equine and the shires rug is a very similar fit on her. Mine is the waterproof one.

Lovely thank you

I need a very light one as the boy gets hot but I've moved yards and the fields are next.to a river and they get lots of horse flies. The boys a total princess and will hate that.

Absolute fan of Shires rugs. Well priced, well cut and the triangular "rings' strong and practical. Sizing quite generous but no bad thing - recommend you buy your usual size.

My black mare wears a 5'9 Shires turnout (which is very nearly too big for her) and same size Shires stable (perfect fit). I got her a 5'9 Shires fly rug last summer and couldn't even get it done up it was very small. They didn't have the next size up so I couldn't try that on her to compare.

I had to go up a size last year when I bought the Shires Tempest fly rug as I found it tight on the shoulders for my well built Welshie. Even the larger one is a little tight - but then most things are!

i LOVE the shires sweet itch hoody style rug :)

find them bang on length ways but quite roomy in general, deep and big neck so good for chunks. Pea was 6'9 in everything and was 6'9 in Shires. Goof is just under 6'3, a 6'3 WB is a bit long still but will be getting a 6'3 Shires too, the 6'0 would def be too small.
