I AM REALLY WHAT THE ENETER THE SHIERS COMPETEITION BUT I AM REALLY WORRIED AS I DONT NO WHAT STANDERAD OF RIDING THEY EXPECT, I HAVE JUST FINISHED AT BISHOP BURTON COLLEGE AND NOT A BAD RIDER... CAN ANY BODY HELP... HAS ANY BODY ENETERD???? XZXXX

I would also point out that it is appriciated that you do not write your whole post in capitals.

Sorry about the caps hun no affence intened. No I dont have a link I saw it on the front of a magazine, you thinking about entering I will look for the mag now ..?? x x

I personally don't find it offensive just it may put some members off reading a post that is all in capitals, it gives the impression you are shouting. I wouldn't mind knowing a little more info about it so if you could tell me were you saw it I would much appriciate it. Plus it will let others on here know where you found it incase they are wanting to enter.

I like Shires stuff. Is this the competition to be their "face of Shires"? I don't think you have to be an amazing rider as such, as long as you are competent and have a good position, you should be good enough.

Without meaning to sound like a terminal b*tch, if you can enter the comp by phone, you might do that, rather then entering in writing. If you do send them an email, write it out in Word first, and get someone else to check the spelling and grammar before you send it off. I realise that this isnt a test of your spelling and grammar, its a modelling comp, but competitions like this attract a H*LL of a lot of interest, and if they get an entry that they struggle to read, they may well just bin in in favour of the next legible entry. Play it safe, and maximise your chances.

I personally love the shires range, have quite a lot from them think it is very good quality and decent prices and they do some lovley colours.
 
I know that you don't have to be an amazing rider...just look good on a horse. A friend of mine got through to the semi finals last year and said it was a great day. This year's semi final is at Talland so it should be good! Go on, enter, you never know your luck...what have you got to lose??
