Hi Kate1, Oh yes, mine frequently end up in the washer, my shires leather half chaps too as well as the other ones! They come up like new but do start to fade after about the fifth wash!!! Just hang them on the line or something like that to dry. You'll have a fit when you see all the dye swimming about in the washer while you're washing them and they'll dry like cardboard but soon soften up again after the first wear, its well worth it, good luck! xxxx
