Hi,
This is admittedly the most ridiculous post. So apologies in advance if I'm being beyond stupid. I bought some new side reins which are made by shires online a few weeks ago. Today is my first day of getting to use them and they are HUGE. I'm clipping it to his bit, putting the end through the ring on the roller through the buckle. Even on the last hole it's not even loose. Just absolutely huge. He's a 14.2 haflinger. So he's not a fine horse but I can't see these fitting a Clydesdale..
Am I doing something wrong? Are they meant to double over somewhere?
Thanks, again, apologies for stupidity.
