Do the stable rugs fit the same as the turnouts? I know I would need 7ft in a combo turnout but do the stable rugs fit the same?

What other recommendations do you have? Ideally just need a 100g or maybe 150g as have many liners that could go underneath!

ETA, ideally a detachable neck!

I bought a cheap and cheerful 100gm Pessoa stable rug on ebay (Ayr Equestrian were the seller) for £32.

My horse is between 6ft3 and 6ft6 so I went up a size since it was cheaper (in my head that means smaller made). It fits well and does the job.

The other horse has a Shires stable rug and it fits the same as his Shires turnouts.

I find the shires the same size for stable and turnout too. I have one of their 100g stable rugs and can't fault it.

I have mainly Ruggles rugs but I do have one shires stable rug and a shires heavy weight turnout and absolutely can’t fault them, they definitely come up the same size.

Id say the sizing is the same and true to size. Have a look at two times tack, fab service and they have some bargain Shires rugs. Ive just bought the 100g Shires stable rug with a detachable neck
