Hello, has anyone got one of these rugs, and if you have, what do you think of it. I like Shires rugs but this one doesn't have shoulder gussets

I've been burned in the past with shires rug, it was a lightweight turnout and let water in left right and centre!! But having said that my friend has the tempest ligtweight and the water beads on it and really holds out the water so it looks as though they may have improved! I am considering it as rug for my foal as don't want to spend much as he'll be out of it within a few months, but having an amigo 1200d for my mare which for the money has been a damn good rug, I think I may get another of them......

Having sworn by the shire stormcheeta turnout last winter, it didnt let me down once! Ive just brought one of the tempest rugs for our yearling, its held really well in the miserable whether we've had. Its a real good fit on him, no shoulder rubs and hasnt slipped. TBH its my bargain rug atm..

Thanks for that. I only tend to go for Shires as I have two roundy cobs with a huge chests and most rugs dont go anywhere near them. I am a little worried about rubbing tho. TBH my two only have these on if it snows as they are hairy and hardy lol
