Shires Warmarug or Premier Equine liner system

Has anyone used the Shires Warmarug system with the liners. They look quite good value for money but the rug outer is only 600 denier so I am wondering if they are waterproof enough.
I currently use PE for one horse but am getting another horse so need more rugs - obviously !
I'm also looking at PE and Rambo but Shire looks very favourable and would also like a different colour system to my PE rugs so its easily to find the right rug for the right horse.

I have 100g Warmarug liners for both of my geldings, and can confirm that the rug outers are definitely waterproof enough. They've stood up to this absolute barrage of rain that we've had over the last few days, with both boys plus their under rugs having stayed perfectly dry under their turnouts.

Are the warmarug liners compatible with the PE turnout rugs?

I don't know, looks like it from the pictures. Would like a red one!
