shivering horses in august.. rugs + stables already!

My TB is ot at night in a LW rug - going to bring her in at the weekend though if its still cold, she can be turned out daytime.
Bit peed off though - entire stable and straw bed plus all my horsey stuff and rugs where soaked tonight :( despite them being in a barn
 
I too can't believe that my horses are in during august! .

I have a TB mare, and I keep bringing her in when it rains.

Last time I left her out in the rain she tweaked herself..... so one expensive vets visit later! Can't belive that my girly has been confined to barracks since Tuesday, but when there is no grass in the field and the weather is foul I think she is better in. At the very least it is keeping the weight on her.... but still in, in August is unreal.

:eek: got a leak? that must have been horrible to find, hope everything drys out okay and isnt too badly damaged!
 
my 3 have been in lW for the past week with this horrid rain my mare that feels the cold had an old MW that isnt that good on tonight as the rain sheets were soaked through they even came in for hay today usually standing in for the day because there too fat not because there cold and wet its rubbish...just what do we have to come :-(
