shock?

Anyone have any experiences of horses.suffering shock?

Briefly following a field accident. The mare was given sedative by the emergency vet and painkillers by injection and stabled.

Had experience of shock/concussion when horse reared and fell over backwards banging head and stood very splayed and wobbling. Shut in stable with top door shut and lights off until the vet could arrive and examine the horse. Was okay fortunately.

What kind of shock do you mean?

My mares gone into shock not sure why the vet thinks its something to do with weather, he was out last night but shes not good this morning

I think your vet means there's something wrong with your horse and he doesn't know what. What are the symptoms???

Twice but both after accidents .

Hope ur mare ok ? Only seen shock after accident , not seen just sudden onset how's ur mare tonight ? X
