We saw the original vet today (fortnight ago we saw someone else) and OV was delighted how much better he was than the last presentation 6wks ago- apparently OV hadn't expected much at all from the steroid injection

but he actually said he is 'cautiously optimistic' today

He has recommended turning Bentley away until Christmas and putting him on Cosequin but thinks he is a good candidate for making a full recovery

Thank you so much to you all for your support and your vibes, I genuinely thought I was going to be sending my boy to the kennels and NEVER anticipated this

I'm so pleased Ali, I bet you're on cloud 9/over the moon (delete cliche as appropriate

! These youngsters have an incredible ability to heal so I really hope he has a happy and long future ahead of him.

I can't tell you how pleased I am for you and your boy. The thought of a 4yrs old being written off is to much to bear.

Am so pleased - just saw your earlier message and thought I would look for an update before I posted.

Bentley is my type of horse, and am really happy for you all that things look so much more positive
